EPR Program for Lights Launches August 1, 2024

Attention to retailers in Nova Scotia who sell lights and lamps: Nova Scotia’s extended producer responsibility (EPR) program for lights begins on August 1, 2024.  Product Care is the Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO) for the program.  Fees for the program have yet to be posted. More information on the Product Care program can be found here.

Batteries EPR Program Goes Live on July 1, 2024

Attention retailers in Nova Scotia who sell batteries: Nova Scotia’s extended producer responsibility (EPR) program for batteries begins on July 1, 2024. Call 2 Recycle is the Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO) and has posted its fees and also its Environmental Handling Fee Product Guide.
