TORONTO, May 29, 2018 – Interac Corp. and Retail Council of Canada (RCC) are delighted to reveal that Connor Combdon is the recipient of the special Retail as a Career Scholarship of $5,000 funded by Interac Corp. Connor will be entering third year of the Bachelor of Commerce program at University of Ontario Institute of Technology this fall and is currently working at TJX Canada Winners as a part time sales associate. “We are very proud to once again partner with Retail Council of Canada in support of the Retail as a Career Scholarship program,” said Mark O’Connell, President and CEO of Interac Corp. “We congratulate Connor Combdon, as well as the other scholarship recipients, and wish them well in their education and future careers in retail.”

They are outstanding in their recognition of the importance of the retail industry and how vibrant a career in retail can be given that retail is Canada’s largest private sector employer,” said Diane J.
