Toronto – April 17, 2018: With changing technology, evolving consumerism, social activism and political disruption reshaping retail, the need for innovative approaches to retail has never been greater. The highly anticipated details of the agenda have just been released. Click here to see the full agenda.

STORE 2018 is Canada’s biggest retail event of the year, and a must-attend conference for retail industry leaders.

This year’s two-day conference is packed with more than 80 speakers, representing the “who’s who” of retail in North America. It will also bring together more than 2,500 delegates to identify critical retail trends and shifts, and provide retailers and their business partners with information, contacts, strategies and tactics for success.

“What’s especially interesting this year is that, despite tremendous disruption happening around the world, and new global competition online, retailers are finding new ways to surpass consumer expectations and keep Canadian retail strong – both in-store and online,” said Kyle Tomlin, Vice President Education and Events. “This year’s conference topics and speakers will address some really tough questions and provide a range of perspectives and insights that retailers can immediately bring to their teams.”

The conference will enable retailers to attend provocative keynote presentations covering all matters of retail, as well as concurrent sessions focusing on store operations, marketing, merchant and supply chain, and digital and mobile. The content has also been developed to ensure that each retailer – regardless of size or type (e.g. large, medium, independent, mass merchant, apparel, grocery) – can participate in sessions that are relevant to their business needs. For example, the entire afternoon on the second day is dedicated to grocery.

Some of speakers at STORE 2018 will include:
Deborah Weinswig, Managing Director, Fung Global Retail & Technology
Harley Finkelstein, COO, Shopify
Eric Morris, Director Retail, Google Canada
Kelly Mooney, Chief Experience Officer, IBM
Lee McCabe, VP, North America, Alibaba Group
Rachel Schectman, Founder & CEO, STORY
