Each year, the Retail Council of Canada celebrates the future retail leaders of our country and hands out dozens of scholarships to further their interest!
RCC is proud to announce this year’s winners for 2024. These students have demonstrated outstanding academic achievements, dedication to furthering education, and a passion for retail. Congratulations winners!
Sixteen post-secondary students from across the country will each receive $1,000 as part of the program. The scholarships are awarded to students working in retail and who are entering or currently enrolled in a retail-related program at a Canadian post-secondary institution.
In addition to the scholarships, recipients receive an all-access pass, including travel and accommodation, to attend RCC STORE 24 where they will have the opportunity to meet with some of Canada’s most prominent retail industry professionals.
Canadian Retail Hall of Fame Scholarship: Hafiz Umair Islam ($3,000)
JRoss Retail Recruiters Scholarship: Ethan Drohomirecki ($2,000)
John C. Williams Scholarship: Glancy Macwan ($2,000)
Please note that this year we have an additional scholarship being awarded similar to JRoss’s award. To celebrate their 50 years, John C. Williams Group is offering a $2000 award.
