RCC advocating for guidance for retailers in advance of finalization of proposed amendments to explosives regulations

The federal government published proposed changes to its explosives regulations to add four new chemicals found in products such as nail polish remover and cold packs to the restricted components list. RCC is advocating that guidance and training materials be developed in collaboration with RCC members in advance of finalization to address concerns over consumer privacy and employee safety in reporting “suspicious” sales.
