Let’s talk Budget 2021: Pre-Budget consultations

The federal government launched its 2021 pre-budget consultation process this week, inviting Canadians to share their ideas on what they think Budget 2021 should include.
RCC will be participating on behalf of retailers by continuing our push for reduced credit card “swipe fees”, a refundable tax credit on expenditures such as PPE and increased safety training, and to permanently eliminate tariffs on essential items such as PPE.

The consultation will remain open until Friday, February 19, 2021.
