Transformation of New Brunswick’s used beverage container recycling program complete

On April 1, 2023 responsibility for used beverage container recycling in New Brunswick officially moved from a for-profit corporation to a not-for-profit producer responsibility organization (PRO).

By all accounts, the transition has been seamless and RCC members have not been negatively impacted. Encorp Atlantic serves as the PRO for New Brunswick and will work diligently to improve recycling rates.
