Advisory Notice: Child Safety Gate Recall

• Stairway Special Safety Gate, Model SS-30 & SS-30 OD (Outdoor Safety Gate)

Please be advised that “KidCo Angle Mount Wood Safeway” safety gates and “Madison Mill Foldaway Gates” have been recalled by the manufacturers for not meeting the Canadian safety requirements. The products were available at various retailers and online across Canada since January 2012.

Product safety is the top priority for Retail Council of Canada members. Our members have been notified of the recalls and affected products are being withdrawn.

Health Canada is not aware of any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these gates in Canada.
