Manitoba announces restrictions on interprovincial travel

January 28, 2021

The Manitoba government has announced it will be restricting both personal and business interprovincial travel to help prevent importation of possible variants of COVID-19 from other jurisdictions.

As of January 29, 2021, anyone entering Manitoba from anywhere in Canada will be required to self-isolate for 14 days. There will be some exemptions for people who regularly travel to and from communities near the borders for essential purposes.

RCC has advocated for the inclusion of a business exception application process and is awaiting the final travel resections health order to be posted here.
