Manitoba extends public health orders and commits to reopening roadmap

February 1, 2022

The Manitoba government has announced that the public health orders currently in place will continue until Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Government indicated it will outline the reopening plan for moving forward this week, which is anticipated to be tied to hospital and ICU system capacity.

The province also intends to extend its sector support program for businesses impacted by the current health orders. Retail across the majority of the province remains at 100% capacity, as long as 2 metre distancing can be accommodated.
