Retail crime prevention strategy released in ManitobaFebruary 11, 2021
The Manitoba Retail Crime Task Force, co-chaired by RCC and formed in response to rising retail crime, has publicly released its strategic plan and priorities designed to create safer retail environment for all Manitobans.
The initiative is championed by Manitoba’s Minister of Justice & Attorney General and includes senior level justice, law enforcement and retail sector representation. The eight priorities of the plan empower retailers, with a focus on enforcement and justice resources and training for businesses of all sizes.
