Environment and Climate Change Canada survey on Packaging and Products extended

January 24, 2023

Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) currently has an open Cost-Benefit Analysis Survey (EN/FR) to collect data from industry on packaging and products. Ultimately, information on costs and impacts will help inform the regulatory development process for minimum recycled content requirements and labelling, as draft regulations are expected later this year. To give stakeholders more time to respond, ECCC has granted RCC members a week extension until February 17, 2023.

RCC also held a member meeting with ECCC on Janurary 19, 2023 to walk through the survey and answer member questions
