Storm affects supply chain in Newfoundland and Labrador

November 24, 2021

A wind and rain storm has washed out parts of the Trans Canada Highway in Western Newfoundland.  Damage is still being assessed but retailers should expect difficulty in moving goods throughout the province.  The storm has also delayed Marine Atlantic ferry service until at least November 25, 2021Oceanex will be able to service customers on its regularly scheduled routes, every Friday and Saturday. RCC continues to work with Newfoundland and Labrador’s Emergency Services Division, Marine Atlantic and Oceanex on solutions.  RCC will be in regular contact with the Emergency Services Division and will communicate any relevant information through to RCC members.
