Hurricane Fiona: RCC continuing work in Atlantic Canada
September 27, 2022RCC continues to work with emergency management organizations (EMO), RCC members, and the Red Cross to assist in the aftermath of Hurricane Fiona in Atlantic Canada. Disruption in telecommunications has continued to make this work challenging.
As of late Monday, September 26, 2022, there has been no request – from either the Red Cross or EMO – for RCC members to provide direct assistance in either New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, or Newfoundland and Labrador. RCC remains in contact with each of these entities and will notify members, should the situation change.
