Regina plastic bag ban comes into effect February 1, 2022

As announced last summer, the City of Regina Plastic Checkout Bag Ban Bylaw comes into effect on February 1, 2022. The ban specifically targets check-stand bags and prohibits both plastic and biodegradable options. The bylaw is generally consistent with many others introduced across the country.
