To achieve this goal, RCC has taken a leadership role by promoting and assisting our industry in the development of a strong heath and safety culture. Ontario New Employment Standards Poster

Effective May 20, 2015, the Ontario Ministry of Labour will require employers to post the new Employment Standards Poster in a visible workplace area. Employers are also required to give every employee a copy of the poster. Employers must provide all employees with a copy of version 6.0 of the employment Standards Poster by June 19, 2015. Any new employees hired after May 20, 2015 must be given a copy within 30 days of their hiring date. This poster describes important rights and requirements under the Employment Standards Act, 2000.

New bullying and harassment policies for BC employers come into effect November 1

New WorkSafeBC rules will require all employers in British Columbia  to have anti-bullying and harassment policies, provide training, have procedures in place for reporting bullying and harassment situations and to keep records of cases.
