Supports for impacted workers in PEI

The province has announced supports for workers who completely lost their income or will have their hours reduced by at least 12 hours a week from February 28 to March 14, 2021.
These include the $500 Prince Edward Island Emergency Payment and the $100 Prince Edward Island Impacted Worker Grocery Card Program.
The government will also be launching a $1 million dollar fund to help Islanders who are off sick, do not have access to paid sick leave, or are not eligible for federal benefits.
