Upcoming member meeting with RPRA on Ontario Blue Box Regulation

If you supply packaging and paper into the Ontario market, you may have obligations under the new Ontario Blue Box Regulation. Starting in 2023, the residential recycling system will be transitioning to full producer responsibility, which means that producers will be physically and financially responsible for the system instead of splitting costs with municipalities.
The Resource Productivity and Recovery Authority (RPRA) will be responsible for providing oversight and enforcing requirements for producers, including producer registration. To help clarify responsibilities and answer member questions, RCC has organized a member meeting with RPRA on July 29, 2021 (2-3pm ET).
