Nova Scotia expands its community pharmacy clinic program

The Nova Scotia government has announced an investment of $1.2 million to expand its Community Pharmacy Clinic program to fourteen new locations across the province.

The program allows pharmacists in these clinics to treat and prescribe medication for patients with common illnesses or chronic diseases. The program has been a success since its launch in February 2023. The expansion of this program will occur this month.
