Alberta gears up for provincial election

While the writ will not drop for another couple of weeks, Alberta’s political parties and candidates are in full campaign mode as they prepare for election day on May 29, 2023.

It’s expected to be a tight race between the NDP and governing UCP, and RCC has called on both campaigns to include Alberta retailers in their platforms. RCC would like to see addressed: helping address labour challenges, retail safety and security, and supporting a predictable environment for businesses including minimum wage, taxes, and regulations that impact operations.
