Alberta provincial budget day
February 28, 2023Alberta’s UCP government will announce its pre-election provincial budget today, February 28, 2023, which is expected to include a number of spending promises.
It is expected the budget will focus on Alberta jobs and the economy, as well as keeping life more affordable for Albertans through inflation-fighting programs and payouts. Major commitments of an additional $2 billion to healthcare are expected as well. RCC has previously reinforced the importance of cost containment and operational simplicity as important issues to our members.
RCC will report on any relevant announcements before Albertans head to the polls on May 29, 2023.
