Health Canada’s Consumer and Hazardous Products Safety Directorate (CHPSD) joins RCC meeting
February 28, 2023RCC welcomed new Director General Dennis Price of Health Canada’s Consumer and Hazardous Products Safety Directorate (CHPSD) to RCC’s Product Safety and Regulatory Committee Meeting last week at the International Consumer Product Health and Safety Organization (ICPHSO) meeting in Orlando, Florida.
Members heard from Director General Price and Patricia Pelletier, Director of the Assessment, Information and Engagement Bureau, about key upcoming regulatory priorities for Health Canada in 2023 and beyond, and had the opportunity to share observations and questions on best practices regarding product safety from the perspective of retail.
