RCC hosts retail crime round table in Edmonton

With Alberta retailers challenged by escalating retail crime, RCC brought together key stakeholders for an in-person facilitated session on Friday, June 23, 2023 designed to identify and discuss specific actionable responses. Hosted in Edmonton, the Alberta Retail Crime Round Table included law enforcement leaders from across the province, political and department Alberta government representitives, business groups, private security, and RCC members.

In the coming weeks, a report will be shared with leaders of police and political partners, with the expectation based on feedback heard during the session that an Alberta Retail Crime Executive Task Force will be formed to ensure ongoing collaboration amongst key groups.
