RCC and other businesses write to feds on the urgency of ending the Port of Montreal strike

RCC knows that 2020 has been grueling and that retailers can’t afford extra transportation charges on top of everything else. That is why we continue to press the federal Minister of Labour to use all tools possible to facilitate a dialogue between the Maritime Employers Association and the longshoremen’s union with regards to the Port of Montreal strike.
On Wednesday, RCC joined thirteen other associations in continuing to press for a resolution by issuing a joint letter to the Minister Tassi. RCC will continue to ensure that the government understands that this issue requires their full attention in order to preserve jobs and protect Canada’s economy.
