West Coast Port Dock Foremen Vote on New Settlement Agreement

Attention all retailers: West Coast Ports dock foremen, represented by the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) Local 514, are currently voting on whether to accept a comprehensive offer from the BC Maritime Employers Association (BCMEA). The vote will conclude by the end of the day on Saturday, June 15, 2024. Should the members accept the terms, the BCMEA will proceed with its ratification process on Monday, June 17, 2024.

RCC continues to monitor ongoing labour negotiations at CN Rail and CPKC Rail which remain in a holding pattern as the Canada Industrial Relations Board conducts its review.
