Manitoba to raise minimum wage further in 2023

The Manitoba government has announced that in addition to raising its minimum wage from $13.50 to $14.15 on April 1, 2023 on its planned pathway to $15 this October, it will now be raising the minimum as of October 1, 2023 to $15.30.

This represents a $3.35 or 30% increase in under a year, as the government goes into an uphill re-election battle this Fall.
