Alberta seeking input on proposed Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) changes

April 13, 2021

RCC continues to work with the Alberta government as they update the Occupational Health and Safety(OHS) laws as part of their three-year review plan. Amendments are designed to make the OHS Code easier for employers and workers to understand and comply.

Year one focused on the recently-passed Ensuring Safety and Cutting Red Tape Act, and the government is now seeking employer input on the anticipated changes through an online survey that closes May 10, 2021.

RCC will also continue to work directly with government on this file.
