A reminder that the compliance deadline for Manitoba’s Accessibility Standard for Employment is fast approaching, and requires by May 1, 2022, all Manitoba employers to have measures, policies and practices in place to provide reasonable accommodation for their employees and applicants.
Employers need to consider reasonable accommodation at various stages of employment as it applies to their organizations. This includes recruitment, offer of employment, on the job, return to work, and training.
