Essential retail workers in Manitoba to receive one-time wage top-up

Premier Pallister announced that all front line Manitoba essential retail workers, who worked a minimum 200 cumulative hours over the 10 weeks of March 20, 2020 – May 29, 2020 and earned less than $2500 a month, will be eligible to apply online for a one time Risk Recognition reward. Eligible employees that apply before June 18, 2020 will split a $120 million fund, with an estimated gift of payment of over $1,000.
