Manitoba announces liquor retailing updates

The Manitoba Government has tabled new legislation that, if passed, will update liquor retailing to allow for all existing liquor retailers to carry wine, beer and spirits, as well as enable the province to conduct a five-year pilot project in other retail environments, including grocery stores.

Nearly 70 per cent of Manitobans support being able to access wine and beer in grocery stores, and RCC will continue to work with the government to advocate for the timely execution of the pilot enabled in Manitoba Bill 42.
