Manitoba continues to exceed timelines during reopening phases

June 29, 2021

With Manitoba meeting and exceeding its COVID-19 vaccination target for Phase One of its 4-3-2-One Great Summer’ reopening plan, the province began its first step of reopening early, and this past weekend relaxed rules for retail stores and many other businesses.

The next milestone date is August 2, 2021, with a vaccination milestone of 75% of eligible Manitobans having received their first dose and 50% their second dose. The province is trending positively towards these thresholds, and it is widely expected that Phase Two of reopening will proceed as early as mid-July. Currently over 72% of eligible Manitobans 12 years plus have received their first dose, and over 32% are now fully vaccinated.
