Manitoba enforcement of public health orders bolstered

November 19, 2020

The Province of Manitoba has contracted G4S Canada to assist in enforcing the COVID-19 public health orders with 90 additional inspectors who will complement the efforts by provincial officers.

Manitobans are also being encouraged to contact the province’s “tip line” to share information about possible breaches by individuals and businesses of public health orders. Retailers currently open must manage to 25% capacity limits. All retailers must also remind customers not wearing a mask about the mandatory mask requirement when they enter a store or risk a $5,000 fine.
