Manitoba government says throne speech November 15, 2022

Manitoba Premier Heather Stefanson announced on Friday that she will prorogue the current legislative session on November 14, 2022. This will result in most current bills of interest to the retail sector needing to be reintroduced in the next session.

The throne speech will be read on November 15, 2022, and RCC hopes that it includes commitments tied to economic growth, crime, commitments tied to affordability, and potentially liquor reform.
