Minor amendments anticipated for updated Manitoba Health Order

November 9, 2021

With Manitoba’s current health order set to expire November 16, 2021, public health officials are deliberating how to respond to very high active cases in Southern Health Region and isolated northern communities, while recognizing that the majority of the province, including the Winnipeg capital region, remains in a very good place.

RCC expects no changes specific to retail, with most stores remaining at 100% capacity, though there will be regional capacity restrictions targeting Southern Health hot spots where high cases and low vaccination rates persist. RCC is regularly engaging with the province and will continue to update members leading up to the formal announcement, expected later this week.
