More aggressive enforcement of public health orders in Manitoba

The Manitoba government has empowered more officers to enforce public health orders in an effort to address inconsistent compliance to the November 12, 2020 Heath Order that requires non-critical retailers to close.

Fines are currently set at $1,296 for individuals and $5,000 for corporations, but may be expanded in coming days if there is failure to comply with the rules.
