New COVID-19 restrictions introduced in Alberta

The government of Alberta has introduced a number of new targeted measures to limit the spread of COVID-19. From November 13-27, 2020, restaurants, bars, lounges and pubs will be required to stop liquor sales by 10pm and close by 11pm.

There will also be a ban during this period on group fitness classes, team sport activities and group performance activities in Edmonton, Calgary and the surrounding areas, as well as in Grande Prairie, Lethbridge, Fort McMurray and Red Deer.
