Upcoming Manitoba Health Order anticipated to expand retail capacity

June 22, 2021

With the province reaching its Stage One first and second dose vaccination targets on Monday, Manitoba’s chief public health officer has confirmed that plans for the loosening of some health restrictions will be announced on Wednesday.

It is expected that the new Health Orders will expand capacity in retail stores to 25% and include the removal of the single shopper per household requirement, as advocated for by RCC. The orders will also allow for the reopening of restaurants, personal services, as well as the expansion of gathering sizes.
