February 13, 2024RCC’s President and CEO, Diane J. Brisebois, and Karl Littler, Senior VP, Public Affairs presented at the Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food on February 6, 2024 concerning ongoing efforts to stabilize food prices.
They addressed the true drivers of food inflation including the fact that 70% to 80% of grocery checkout prices arise from vendors before the food even gets to Canada’s grocers.
