‘Atlantic Bubble’ to return on April 19, 2021

Due to continued success in keeping COVID-19 numbers low, the Atlantic Premiers have decided to re-open the Atlantic Bubble as of April 19, 2021.

While COVID-19 remains a serious concern, the Premiers are encouraged by Atlantic Canadians’ adherence to the public health measures, the containment of regional outbreaks, and the progress in rolling out vaccines.

In recognition of this, the Premiers agreed to reopen the Atlantic Bubble by April 19, 2021, conditional upon COVID-19 case numbers remaining low in the region, containment of outbreaks, and ongoing advice from the Atlantic Chief of Health.
