Beverage Containers Program: Deadline to register as a brand owner on the Recycle NB website
July 5, 2023As the New Brunswick Beverage Containers Program will migrate to an extended producer responsibility program on April 1, 2024, RCC members who sell beverage products in New Brunswick will need to ensure they are compliant with the new rules. One of these rules is the requirement for beverage product distributors to register with Recycle NB before August 1, 2023.
Further details can be found through Recycle NB’s webpage which includes Recycle NB’s Brand Owner Registration Form. RCC members should note that if they are currently registered as a product distributor with Encorp Atlantic, they must register with Recycle NB before the August 1, 2023 deadline.
