RCC partners with Toronto Police in retail crime awareness campaign
January 17, 2023Last week, the Toronto Police Service in partnership with RCC and other industry members launched the second phase of an organized retail crime awareness campaign.
Toronto Crime Stoppers Coordinator, Det. Marc Madramootoo hosted the event, which included remarks by Rui Rodrigues, RCC Executive Advisor – Loss Prevention & Risk Management. Watch the announcement here.
The announcement came with the release of several posters under the moniker “See it. Say it. Stop it.”
The objective, according to Toronto Police, is to create awareness within the community on the growing issue of retail theft and remind citizens to report individuals involved in this criminal activity anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
