PEI releases updated retail operations guidance

For RCC members who conduct business in Prince Edward Island

The Government of PEI has come out with updated Retail Operations Guidance. This guideline applies to all retail businesses, including but not limited to clothing retailers, big-box retailers, food, alcohol, and cannabis retailers, shopping malls, book stores, convenience stores, bargain retailers, and electronics retailers.

RCC notes that there are more specific suggestions than were previously communicated but that the guidelines are considered manageable.

As noted previously, the PEI government has also provided an Operational Plan Template, for those retailers who have yet to complete their plan. Download template.
