Additional retail staff now allowed in grocery retail in Quebec to ensure health measures compliance

After ongoing lobbying efforts on behalf of retailers in Quebec, RCC’s Quebec team was able to successfully gain flexibility regarding the number of employees allowed outside of legal regular hours. The introduction of an order yesterday by the Minister of Health and Social Services now allows, outside of regular operating hours, an additional two people to monitor health and safety compliance instructions that are recommended by public health authorities. (This is in addition to the four staff that has been previously allowed).
