Detailed study of Bill 96 (French language) begins in Quebec

Despite the ongoing parliamentary recess, the Committee on Culture and Education on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 began a clause-by-clause review of Bill 96, An Act respecting French, the official and common language of Québec.
RCC will closely monitor this study, which may take several weeks, given the many potential impacts on retailers in terms of signage, contractual arrangements, and others considerations.
