Starting September 2022, retailers in Quebec will be required to track and report confidentiality incidents (privacy breaches) and notify affected individuals.
The Quebec government has released draft regulations for this new mandatory confidentiality incident reporting for consultation. The consultation period ends in mid-August. If you have comments, please submit them by Tuesday, July 26, 2022.
