Québec tables bottle deposit and blue box regulations

The regulations on the new blue box and bottle deposit systems implementation were tabled on January 26, 2022. Even though both regulations are extensive, a 45 day consultation period (beginning January 26, 2022 and ending March 11, 2022) is now open.
RCC will work closely with our members to prepare feedback for government on these new proposed regulations.
The Ministry of Environment is hosting the following meetings to help brief interested parties on the new proposed regulations:
