Saskatchewan launches The Household Packaging and Paper Program Regulations review

The government has launched a review of The Household Packaging and Paper Stewardship Program Regulations and the Multi-Material Recycling Program.
As part of this, the Ministry of Environment has released a Discussion Paper and is seeking input on several areas, including full extended producer responsibility. Feedback can be provided to government until April 30, 2021. There is also an online survey and virtual engagement sessions scheduled for March 30 and April 15, 2021. RCC will be meeting with officials in the coming days and preparing a submission on behalf of members.
