Saskatchewan reintroduces amendments to liquor legislation

December 13, 2022

In recent years, Saskatchewan has taken several steps to modernize liquor laws and reduce red tape. Last week, the government announced additional red tape reduction, as part of a larger announcement to enable responsible consumption in public parks.

If passed, the legislation would also simplify recorking provisions for permittees. It’s also positive news for RCC members who sell brew-it-yourself kits as it’s set to allow homemade beer, wine, and cider to be served at family events with a special occasion permit.
