Saskatchewan to prioritize grocery and pharmacy workers working in certain facilities for vaccines

Saskatchewan’s pharmacists are set to begin participating in delivering vaccines the week of April 26, 2021 or earlier depending on vaccine supply.

In a release issued it was confirmed that pharmacists will be able to offer vaccines to pharmacy and grocery staff working in facilities where vaccines are offered. Any staff working in a facility where vaccine delivery is occurring will be eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in that facility.

Pharmacies will require proof of employment in the facility where the vaccine is being delivered when not part of the general public age based eligibility criteria.
