Saskatchewan’s current Public Health Order extended

December 1, 2021

The Saskatchewan government has announced that its current Public Health Order will be extended to January 31, 2022, with no meaningful change. Under the current Public Health Order, masking is mandatory in all indoor public spaces including retail, and for many other sectors, a proof of vaccination (POV) program is in place.

RCC had advocated to lift the POV requirement for retail liquor stores, as well as allow quick serve restaurants the ability to confirm vaccination status at the counter, versus door, as is common in other provinces.
